Who are we?

ERF – Estudi Ramon Folch i Associats S.L. is an independent energy, environmental and sustainability consultancy with more than 25 years of experience in the national and international markets prepared to lead companies and institutions to their transformation to sustainability.

ERF was founded by the socioecologist Ramon Folch and Núria Doladé in 1994. In 2011, having worked for the company for more than ten years, the industrial engineer Ivan Capdevila and the biologist and town planner Frederic Ximeno became partners. Since november 2017, Ivan Capdevila is the CEO of the company.

Adopting a customer-oriented approach based on technical and scientific rigour and a focus on feasible solutions, ERF’s team of qualified professionals from different fields (engineers, biologists, environmentalists, technical architects and communication experts, among others) works alongside companies and institutions, advising them in their transformation to sustainability.

The fact-based transition to sustainability

ERF successfully resolves complex projects through a combination of the company’s three specialist areas: consulting in the fields of the environment, regional development and urban planning; energy efficiency engineering; and sustainability and climate strategies in the design of plans, programmes and projects. Such projects always take into account the appropriate scale (regional, urban, neighbourhood, building or production sector) and the socio-political, economic and socio-environmental conditions in which strategies are to be implemented.
