Sant Boi de Llobregat submits candidacy for the Green Leaf 2026 Award

The Sant Boi City Council has presented its candidacy with the support of ERF.

Sant Boi de Llobregat has been selected as one of the candidates for the European Green Leaf Award 2026, an award given to cities with less than 100,000 inhabitants for their sustainability initiatives. ERF has worked with the municipal team to prepare its candidacy.

The list of cities competing for the European Green Leaf Award 2026 also includes cities in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, such as Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Joan Despí. Also, Águeda (Portugal), Estarreja (Portugal), Garges-Lès-Gonesse (France), Livry-Gargan (France), Mafra (Portugal), Olbia (Italy), Pszczyna (Poland), Saint-Quentin (France), y Vaasa (Finland)​​.

The winners of the awards will be announced on October 24, 2024 at a ceremony to be held in Valencia, the European Green Capital 2024.
