The Barcelona Metropolitan Area has been promoting the 2030 Carbon Management Strategy for years, through which it aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by the AMB, including concession companies, its own facilities and offices. The target is a 55% reduction in GHG emissions compared to 2011.
The scope of the strategy includes the more than 50 organizations and companies that provide services in the metropolitan territory in the following sectors: offices, mobility, territory, waste and water.
