Consulting in sustainable architecture and energy simulation
Graduated in Materials Engineering (UB), Master of Science and Technology in Sustainability and Master of Sustainable Intervention in the Built Environment (ETSAV - UPC)
My work at ERF
Since June 2020, my work at ERF has focused above all on advice on sustainable building, carrying out energy certifications of buildings and planning strategies to improve the energy performance and comfort of buildings.
I perform complex energy simulations (DesignBuilder, HULC, CYPETHERM HE PLUS). It is worth mentioning the study of unique solutions of ICAEN in the framework of the Bioclimatic Architecture collection, both for Thermal Inertia and Vegetation in the Envelope. I have also worked on highly complex energy simulations with the architectural firm RCR and, together with the energy efficiency department, I have prepared certifications of large facilities such as the MACBA or several sports centers with complex facilities.
I am a BREEAM Housing Advisor. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) is the prestigious method of assessment and certification of sustainability in building, created in the UK in 1990 by the BRE Group.
My experience
I have worked in the construction materials industry and in product certification. In collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, I have participated in the renovation of homes on a neighbourhood scale and in the implementation of the Energy Bank in Vilanova i la Geltrú together with the La Vinagreta co-operative. I have worked with the Cíclica co-operative, providing advice on energy simulation for buildings and phased renovation planning inked to the needs of users.
Design is not just how you see it, but how it works.
